The platform is free to use currently. If the end user wants to feature their hub or space, they can pay €3, which will make your listing more visible to a remote worker.
You can list your coworking working hub, house, or apartment that has a remote working setup. One advantage of merging a remote working space and accommodation is that the end user can complete all the bookings in one go, and avoid having to seek accommodation if they are on a working holiday for example. A remote working setup is described as having a desk with an office chair and an internet connection.
We encourage that the remote working space is as ergonomic as possible and offers as many amenities and equipment as viable, e.g. an external screen and a laptop docking station.
As the host, you can decide to just list your space and your remote workers contact you directly to arrange the booking. In this case, the automatic booking system can be disabled when the space is listed (you will see this option when you create the listing). Or the host can use the full functionality of the booking engine.
The booking engine includes a calendar which will mark a listing as unavailable once booked by someone. The booking engine can also handle payments from the host to the remote worker by using stripe, the Irish-built payment processor.
Once the host clicks Register, the host should then click add listing.
When adding a listing, you will find at the top of the screen an option to click and upgrade to featured.
Both the host and remote worker can message each other directly through Hotspace. Both will receive an e-mail stating that they’ve received a message if someone contacts them.
If you choose to use the full booking system functionality, you can enter IBAN details when registering and stripe will process the payments to you. Stripe is an Irish-built payment processor. Both the host and the end user can use a Debit or Credit card to pay for a featured option for hosts or to pay for a remote working space if they are an end user.
